The hotel has interesting style with all kind of old times farmer’s and other worker’s equipment as decoration. The hotel has nice rooms, maybe some of them quite small. The staff is service orianted, especially in the hotel restaurant. Restaurant had good food with reasonable price. Breakfast was normal, not so many options to eat.

Good location, AHHAA keskus within walking distance. Big restaurant on the next house. Beds were pretty comfortable and it was quiet to sleep at night, no street noise. Room was big.

Tartu is the second biggest city in Estonia, it has lots of...
Tartu is the second biggest city in Estonia, it has lots of places to visit, like museums, science centre, shopping centres, theatre, there are lots of walking to do, there are great local transport links in Tartu, there are plenty of hotels,B&Bs, plus apartments to stay in, most of the big shopping centres are in the city centre, there is also a free bus that takes you to one of the biggest shopping centres in Estonia, just on the outside of Tartu, that shopping centre is very big, and takes about two hours to walk round, it has a lot of different store, restaurants, etc there.
The local buses are also great to use,buy a tartu bus card, tap and go, or, buy tickets at Tartu bus Station, there are local buses, and city buses, there are lots of them, make sure to get a map, as it is a little difficult to know where to go/get off, if you do not know the area.
By the river, across the foot bridge from the city centre behind the market, you will find a nice beach area for summer, it is lovely there, and sandy, plus changing areas for everyone.

Fell in love with Tartu!
Fell in love with Tartu! An absolutely amazing city with a wide range of museums and activities, cosy and variable dining places, perfect for strolling and cycling around... So much to discover! I will surely return!
Try out the city museums, observation tower, printing history museums, science center, spa center, public transportation is easy to use and takes you all around town with an ease. Yet, one can also rent city bikes to move around 😀

Tartu is a beautiful student city to stay at.
Tartu is a beautiful student city to stay at. With the river running right through it it has everything you can wish for. It is busy enough to get whatever you want, but also to feel almost alone enjoying the lights around the river lights during the evening.
Also a lot of nature in a short drive away.
Stylish, sunny colored small apartment! Cozy for 5 people, but comfortable. The temperature was unseasonably cold, but the heat in the apartment was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, all appliances worked fine, shower worked well with enough water pressure and hot water for all. Plenty of parking behind the building. Food markets not far away. Very easy to find the apartment and many of the main attractions of Tartu are just a 5 minute drive away. Would surely stay there again!
Stay at hotel was pleasant and comfortable. Hotel staff thought about everything. We stayed as family of 2+3kids and rooms was prepared for us perfectly clean and neat with toiletries for kids. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. They were also partnering with nearby parking lot by validating parking ticket. And a small thoughtful things like mailbox for room keys. We most likely be visiting this hotel again. Especially considering that its location is in middle of Tartu.
We stayed at Lydia Hotel for two nights and could not have enjoyed our stay more! The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Town Hall, which makes it very easy to explore the old city. The spa is beautiful, with a few different saunas and a nice pool. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, it has great views and the breakfast was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. If we ever visit Tartu again we will definitely stay here!
Incredibly high quality for the price, every appliance and corner of the apartment was in perfect order. Looks exactly like the pictures, has a nice view and is in a very good location (also if you're a tea fan like me, you will love the place). The check in instructions were very detailed and clear, and i like the contactless lock box. Recommend for any solo travelers staying in Tartu!
The hotel is perfectly nice, and very conveniently located. I didn't use the bus station, but it's right across the street. My room was quiet, which is really important to me. It also had blackout curtains, which some of the places I've stayed at in Estonia do not have. That's also very important to me because I'm a light sleeper. It's also a 10 minute walk from the old town.
Great location with nice view out to the park, plenty of space, large disabled bathroom with heated floor(lovely), easy to control heating in the room, large TV with some Estonian channels. Beds very comfortable.
The 24 hour reception is very convenient with seamless check-in. There is also a lot of history in this building, which stimulates imagination during your stay!
Great location: it's right in the Old Town and on the "bar" street of Tartu. The breakfast was a big surprise for me in a good way. I thought it was just another breakfast buffet, but it's not. It felt it was like a lunch buffet. I believed the gelato made everyone happy, including me. The use of technology in the hotel worked like magic: super convenient.
Nice location in a very unique, beautiful and calm district of Tartu, only 15 minutes on foot from the city center (where I studied for 2 weeks). The flat is pretty and comfortable, self check-in and check-out were efficient. Good Wi-Fi. The price is really fair (about 34 € per night), so I would definitely come again.
Very clean room. The hostel is located directly in front of the main bus station of Tartu. The breakfast is very good. Friendly and helpful staff., 24 h reception, easy check in and check out. Guests of the hostel share the same breakfast and sauna as guests of the hotel (in the same building)
I've been in Dorpat many times and the hotel is sort of "my go to hotel in Tartu"... It's casual, in my opinion. Nothing special, but still - good for a short stay! I'd say that the word that sums it all up is efficiency. Good location and acceptable service quality.
Just before we set off our stay was moved by Tartu Hotels from the Sophia to the Art Pallas. This was not so good for us as we wanted to be on the outskirts of town not in the centre. Parking was not so easy here.
The room was clean and of decent size.
Everything is fabulous. Spa area just awesome you can spend awhole day relaxing. Kids pools are super! Rooms are spacious and beautiful, really great experience. Staff helpful and happy. The best hotel in Estonia
Very comfortable and clean room, you also get to use the amenities of the Hotel adjacent to it so you can do a nice morning smoke sauna and jacuzzi to then go and have some breakfast from the buffet.
Its my favourite hotel in Tartu. I feet like a princesse every time I am there.
Rooms are cosy and sooooo special
Breakfast is good. Short walk from city Centre, free parking.
The hotel and room were excellent, staff was very friendly and the atmosphere in this villa was amazing! I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Tartu.
